Bristol-based studio where heritage meets sustainability.
Inspired by generations of home sewers - my mum and nan, I make a variety of items using repurposed fabrics, remnants and scraps. Every piece is handmade with care, rooted in eco-conscious values and stitched with soul. Welcome to a space where every thread has a past and every creation tells a story.

At Homecrafthouse, every item begins with a piece of fabric or ball of yarn that's been overlooked or discarded, remnants, scraps, unwanted textiles that deserve a second life. I carefully select and repurpose these materials to create one off pieces. Each product is made with care, combining sustainability with creativity, to be cherished in the home or gifted with love.
Creating new and exciting items using remnants and to help reduce waste and protect our planet. Doing this we can minimise landfill waste and promote sustainable practices. Who I Am
🌿 Hello, I’m Denise, and this little shop is a piece of my heart. I’ve always been drawn to the quiet beauty of things others might overlook—offcuts, remnants, forgotten fabrics—and I started making things as a way to give them new life. For years, I shared my work at craft fayres, connecting with people face-to-face. But I wanted to reach further, to show that sustainability can be deeply personal, and that handmade doesn’t mean imperfect—it means intentional.
Alongside sewing, I also crochet—often using leftover yarns and scraps that would otherwise go to waste. Whether it’s a bag, a pouch, or a cozy little creation, each piece is made with care and a commitment to reuse.
Every bag I make carries a name—someone who’s been part of my journey, whether they’re still with me or live on in memory. It’s my way of honouring love, loss, and the threads that hold us together. This isn’t just about textiles—it’s about storytelling, connection, and creating something that lasts.
